Julia Barbosa Landois
She is an internationally exhibited multidisciplinary artist who works in performance, video, installation, and more. She is the recent recipient of National Performance Network's Creation Fund Award and was a co-creator of MantecaHTX, the nation's first directory of Latinx artists. Barbosa Landois has also worked as a professor, community educator, and arts administrator, and currently serves as the Grant Writer and Fiscal Sponsorship Manager at Fresh Arts.

Reyes Ramirez
He is a Houstonian, writer, educator, curator, and organizer of Mexican and Salvadoran descent. He authored the short story collection The Book of Wanderers (2022), a 2023 Young Lions Fiction Award Finalist, from University of Arizona Press’ Camino del Sol series and the poetry collection El Rey of Gold Teeth (2023) from Hub City Press. His latest curatorial project, The Houston Artist Speaks Through Grids, explores the use of grids in contemporary Houston art, literature, history, and politics.

Ivette Román-Roberto
She is a voice experimentalist and community artist from Puerto Rico, residing in Houston, TX since 2005. She was a founding member of the “Performeros” generation of the 90s in Puerto Rico and has performed at numerous events, including the Bienal de Poesía Visual-Chopo Museum, Sia/Poesia Biennial of Bologna, Bâtie Festival of Genève, and the NYU’s Hemispheric Institute encounters at Lima, Perú, and Monterrey, Mexico. She is an active collaborator with Nameless Sound as voice performer and instructor, served as a member of the Artist Advisory Committee of Diverse Works, and is the founding director of the Collective of Puerto Ricans in Houston. Ivette participates in advocacy activities with the National Coalition Power 4 Puerto Rico, the 2023 advocacy cohort of NALAC, and she is also a fellow of the 2023 cohort of Artist INC, Fresh Arts. She recently launched a documentary about RÉQUIEM, a lab-based community singing project addressing the theme of loss due to climate catastrophes, migration, and the pandemic. This documentary was sponsored by the National Performance Network’s Storytelling and Documentation Fund supported by the Doris Duke Foundation.

She is a former restaurant chef turned business owner, also known as "Chef Sister." Her passion is crafting exquisite charcuterie grazing luxury experiences. Stephanie's private dining cuisine is a fusion of Asian techniques with the vibrant flavors of Latino culture. She's a proud American with deep Salvadorian roots, and that cultural blend shines through in her culinary creations. It's not just about delicious food; it's about a celebration of heritage and innovation. Stephanie's journey in the kitchen is a testament to her dedication to creating unforgettable dining experiences that effortlessly blend tradition with a touch of innovation, leaving a lasting impression on every guest.

Pablo Cardoza
Raised in Spring Branch in West Houston, Pablo grew up being active as a DJ in Houston's rave and hip hop scene, as well as the local urban art community. He owns and operates the Pablo Cardoza gallery, which opened in 2010, and is currently pursuing a social work degree at UHD in addition to a biology degree at UH.

Sandra de la Rosa
She is an artist from (b. 1991) San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She earned her Masters of Fine Arts in 2019 at the University of Florida and her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Houston in 2015. Sandra has exhibited her work across Texas and nationally in shows that emphasize the visibility of artists of color, immigration, and border issues.

Sarah Sudhoff
Sarah Sudhoff is a Cuban-American artist based in Houston, Tx. Her work has been exhibited at Blaffer Art Museum, McNay Art Museum, Donggang Photo Museum, Austin Museum of Art, Pioneer Works, Luckman Gallery, Magenta Foundation, Filter Photo, Galveston Arts Center, and the Colorado Photographic Arts Center.
Sudhoff’s research and residencies have been supported by Artpace, Tiffany Foundation, Penland School of Craft, McColl Art Center, Houston Arts Alliance, Kinsey Institute, the DoSeum, and Domus in Italy.
Sudhoff completed an MFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design, New York

Alex Herrera
In 2009 Alex arrived to Houston from Quito-Ecuador. In 2012, he began a path to a culinary career working at different restaurants around town, learning many kinds of cuisine from fine dining to casual or fast food. He loves Houston’s food culture and specializes in Fusion cooking. He got the name "FusionTaste" for his business from this idea of overlapping cuisines. It was launched with his Malaysian friend, and he continued the project. He gets his inspiration from this fused approach to cooking.
"FusionTaste" highlights his native Ecuadorian food by conjoining it with some of Houston's delightful varied cuisines. He has been cooking for 11 and is excited by the culinary arts which give life and form to his dream called "FusionTaste".

Gabriel Martinez.
Born near an atomic blast crater in the New Mexico desert. He attended the Whitney Independent Study Program before moving to Houston as a Core Fellow and artist-in-residence at Project Rowhouses. He is the founding director of Alabama Song and the author of A Sequential Discharge Of Cathected Libidic Tension.

Stephanie Saint Sanchez
Tejana, by-any-means-necessary media artist, movie-maker, and instigator, Stephanie Saint Sanchez grew up in the MTV-era 1980s. She received her first video camera at age 13 and was off and running, creating video stories and mini-epics. She recruited her friends, family and innocent strangers as actors and subjects.
Over the last 15 years, as founder of La Chicana Laundry Pictures, she has written, produced, and directed more than 30 award-winning, genre-splitting short films; from death penalty paper dolls, to coming of age feminist fun with Frida Kahlo and Pals.
Her short film “The Legend of La Llorona” is in The Criterion Collection. She started Señorita Cinema, an all-Latina film festival based in Texas and is a recipient of a S.W.A.M.P. Emerging Filmmakers Fellowship, The Idea Fund Award, and The Lawndale Artist Studio Program.
